ATTRACTION (2009) Video. The expansion of a moment is the concept of this piece. An event takes place in only a few seconds and its magnified by a lengthening experience for the audience senses. The displacement almost imperceptible of a shiny red heart shaped balloon over a winding dark surface, is really the trajectory of this heavy cement object falling from a bridge, until it crashes in to the water of the river that is bellow with an incredible speed, only because of the relentless effect of earth`s gravity. The prolongation of the event to one thousand frames per second, allows a state to be created out of apparent levity that ends up with a powerful collision among the reality of the physics involved which quickly faints into the forces of nature.
